Prof Esposito graduated with honors in dentistry at the University of Pavia, Italy, in 1990 and was awarded a PhD in Biomaterials from the Göteborg University in 1999. He worked as Guest Researcher at NIOM (The Nordic Institute of Dental Materials), Haslum, Norway and is a specialist in Periodontics (UK). He also acted as the Director of the Postgraduate Dental Specialties courses in Dental Implantology, School of Dentistry, University of Manchester, UK between 2007 and 2011, but now he has decided to be a freelance researcher and devote his time entirely to evidence based research in dental implantology.
He authored more than 190 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals. His main research interests are the assessment of the effectiveness of various therapeutic interventions with particular emphasis on dental implants. Marco is worldwide well-known lecturer and leading speaker and author on evidence based dental Implantology.
Prof. Esposito is also the European President & Chief Examiner of The British Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr Patrick R. Rea, Dental Surgeon
Dr Patrick Rea is a graduate of the Royal London Hospital Medical College. He has over 14 year’s dentistry experience and has a special interest in the fields of dental implantology and aesthetic dentistry.
Patrick has a Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry from St Ann’s Dental Education Centre, Manchester and he has attended numerous international courses on aesthetic dentistry.
He trained at the Eastman Institute in 1998, where he obtained a Certificate in Dental Implantology and he has recently obtained the highly specialized Master of Medical Science Degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Sheffield under the auspicious guidance of Professor Ian Brook and Dr Raj Patel. His area of research was the use of MR Imaging in the field of implant dentistry.
Patrick also has an interest in the medico-legal field and is currently one of Dental Protection’s expert witnesses.
Patrick returned to Belfast in 2001 and is the Principal at Sandown Dental Care. He is also a Vocational Trainer with the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency.
Maria Hardman, Dental Surgeon
Dr Hardman is Associate Fellow of the Department of Oral and Maxillo–Facial Implant Surgery at Lille University Medical School, France. She is also the founder and principle dentist of Clinic95, a state of the art clinical and educational facility.
She graduated from Birmingham University in 1985 and was an associate until 1990, when she bought her first practice in Buckinghamshire. Since 1991 she ran a very successful private practice in central Oxford and it was in 1995 that she first became involved with dental implants.
Dr Hardman is a postdoctoral graduate of the Diplome Universitaire in Practical and Fundamental Implantology from Lille University Medical School in France. She is currently accepted for an additional residency programme leading to the Diplome Universitaire in Advanced Implantology and Maxillo-mandibular Recontsructive Surgery.
She is founder and President of Oxford Society of Oral Implantology, which was inaugurated in 2004 and is heavily involved in mentoring postgraduate dentists in implantology. She has recently taken this a step further launching Advanced Dental Training, a purpose built educational facility within Clinic 95.
Ibrahim Hussain, Dental Surgeon
Ibrahim gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Sheffield University before completing his Vocational Training. Following this he has worked purely in private practice, both for corporate and independent, limiting his work to implant, cosmetic/reconstructive and microscope dentistry . Much of his post graduate education was done in the United States, with a particular interest in Implantology, aesthetic and microsurgical dentistry. Ibrahim has been using a microscope for the past 5 years. and he is an active member of The Association of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry, and also The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, for which he is undertaking the accreditation process. His received his Mater of Medical Science Degree in Implantology from The University of Sheffield under the guidance of Professor Ian Brook, and his research was in the area of Bone Grafting. Ibrahim has considerable experience with most of the mainstream implant systems and also vast experience with Cone Beam C.T. Scanning, having set up the first web based refferal service for C.T. scanning in dental practice.
Ibrahim also represented his country in the World Amateur Boxing championships, a sport which he has participated in for many years before becoming a British A.B.A coach. He is also a ‘cuts’ specialist in the corner for professional boxers in his spare time.
Bradley Moore, Dental Technician
Bradley has knowledge and expertise of all aspects of technical dentistry. He qualified as a dental technician in 1982, was awarded the City and Guilds Silver Medal for Outstanding Achievement in advanced crown and bridge technology in 1984.
Having trained and worked in Germany and with 20 years experience of implant dentistry Bradley has implant system accreditation with the major implant systems.
He is a member of the American Academy of Osseointergration and
American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Bradley lives and works Harrogate.
Dr Hassan Maghaireh BDS MFDS MSc Implants, Dental Surgeon- Head of International Affairs
Dr. Maghaireh was born in Morecambe in 1976 and graduated in June 2000. In 2001 he started his post graduate dental training in oral and facial surgery. He spent 5 years training in oral and maxillofacial surgery as senior house officer and staff grade surgeon in various UK hospitals, including Hull Royal Infirmary, North Manchester Hospital and Pinderfields General Hospital in Wakefield. Hassan obtained the Diploma of Membership in the Faculty of Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2004 and was awarded his Clinical Masters degree in dental Implantology from the University of Manchester in July 2008 when he started working with his professor Marco Esposito at the Oral health group in Cochrane Collaboration.
Dr. Maghaireh is now a part time clinical teacher at the department of implant dentistry at the Univeristy of Manchester and a clinical coach for different implant systems in the United Kingdom. He acts as a co-author for implant related systematic reviews with Prof. Marco Esposito and a reviewer for the European Journal of Oral Implantology. Dr Maghaireh also maintains a private implant referral practice in Leeds - England.
Dr Maghaireh is also the President of the Middle East & Africa division of The British Academy of Implant Dentistry, and also coordinates our international affairs.
Amit Patel
Amit Patel BDS MSc MClinDent MFDS RCSEd MRD RCSEng
Specialist in Periodontics, Implant Dentist
Amit is a Specialist in Periodontics practising at Grace House Specialist Dental Centre in Birmingham. His special interests are dental implants, regenerative and aesthetic Periodontics. Amit has considerable experience in most of the mainstream implant systems, including Straumann, Biohorizons, Astra and 3i dental implants.
Since 2009, Amit has introduces an intensive 3 day module on Periodontal & Soft Tissue Aesthetic Considerations in Implant Dentistry run at the Tatum Institute.
Amit graduated from the University of Liverpool and completed a 4 year specialist training programme in Periodontics at Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute. Amit is also an Associate Specialist in Periodontics and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham Dental School. He has taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including lecturing to dental practitioners
Geoff Pullen, Dental Surgeon
Graduated from Kings College Hospital and the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Has lectured on the surgical and restorative phases of dental implantology in the UK, Europe, Russia, the USA and India. He is a past President of the American Dental Society of London, a member of the American Dental Society of Europe. He is a Clinical Director of Bicon Marketing Ltd and as such has demonstrated the surgical placement and restorative aspects of the Bicon Implant System to hundreds of dentists in his practice. He is happy to be a general dentist.
Graham McGee
Graham Magee qualified at Liverpool University in 1978. After working in General Practice on the Wirral for several years he Moved to Trinidad where he ran the Dental Wing of a Private Medical Centre for three years. On returning to the UK. Graham worked in the Cotswolds for several years before finally returning to his home town of Chester.
In 1993, after completing Professor Johns’ Brånemark Implantology course at Sheffield University, Graham established the Chester Dental Implant Centre within the general practice where he was a partner. Finally in 1998 needing more space for the Implant Centre he relocated the Clinic to the present building.
Graham has undergone extensive postgraduate training to develop his skills in Dental Implant Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry including a Master of Medical Science Degree in Dental Implantology from Sheffield University. He continues with his postgraduate education regularly attending courses in Britain, Sweden, France and America. He has also lectured on the aspects of Dental Implantology, CT Scanning and 3D Planning in Advanced Dental Implant Therapy in the UK., Belgium and Ireland.
Graham has published articles in Dentistry magazine and Dental Tribune. He also runs postgraduate training courses in Implant Dentistry for dental practitioners in his practice and is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and the American Academy of Osseointegration.
Andrew Moore
Since qualification in 1988 Dr Moore expanded his clinical experience by taking the post of Honorary Clinical Assistant in Oral Surgery at Basildon Hospital. He then completed a 2 year Postgraduate course in Orthodontics at Southend Hospital.
Dr Moore has a particular interest in Implantology, which he has pursued with a commitment to postgraduate qualifications in this field, including a 1 year course in Implantology at The Centre for Reconstructive Surgery, Harley Street, London. He has recently been awarded The Diploma in Implant Dentistry by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at The Royal College of Surgeons. Andrew has now been placing dental implants for 10 years and has extensive experience and takes referrals from other dentists in the area. Andrew now teaches Implant Dentistry to other dentists at the practice and at the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr Moore is married with two young children Alfie and Lily and still manages to find time for football, running, skiing, sailing and tennis!
Mark Emms L.D.S.R.C.S (Edin) MSc (UCL)
Mark Emms was born and brought up in Staffordshire. He qualified from Edinburgh’s Royal College of Surgeons in 1985 and was awarded his Licence in Dental Surgery. He bought his practice in Penkridge in 1986. Mark undertook several years of specialised implant training at various centres of dental excellence in the UK, alongside running his practice as the principal. Mark then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry in 2004 from the Eastman Dental Institute in London, part of University College, London, where he obtained specialist training in all aspects of conservative and restorative dentistry.
Paul Tipton, Dental Surgeon
Dr Paul Tipton qualified in 1978 from Sheffield University. After teaching in Sheffield and Australia, he established a mixed practice in central Manchester, turning purely private in 1986, after studying in London for 3 years under Michael Wise and completing the Branemark Implantology Course in Sweden.
After a further two years study at the Eastman Dental Hospital and London University he graduated with an MSc in Conservative Dentistry. The following year he began teaching the new MSc in Restorative Dentistry at Manchester University.
In 1992 Paul was awarded the D.G.D.P from the Royal College of Surgeons and appointed a member of the BDA Independent Practice Committee. In 1999 Paul was awarded Specialist status in Prosthodontics from the General Dental Council. He regularly lectures at home and abroad and is renowned for his one-year Restorative Dentistry and Implantology courses, where over 1000 dentists have graduated during the last 20 years and, for his numerous articles on implantology and cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is on the editorial board of Private Dentistry magazine and Restorative & Aesthetic Practice and was a founding member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Ian Bellamy
Ian Bellamy BDS BSc graduated in 1991 from Dundee University, having first obtained an honours degree in Microbiology with Microbial Genetics in 1987. He has been offering implant treatment at Aquae Sulis Dental, in Bath since 1998 and has placed in excess of 1500 fixtures on his own patients and those of his referring colleagues. Ian is commited to continuing post-graduate education and has trained extensively in Europe and the USA, including working at the Branemark Clinic in Gothenburg. He has recently completed the Royal College of Surgeons Diploma Course in Implantology and is an active member of the Association of Dental Iplantology (ADI) and the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO). Ian is also involved in the teaching of dental colleagues providing one-to-one teaching and mentoring as part of their progression in implant training.

In 2006 Dr. Bain was the only British dentist to be invited to participate as an expert in both the Academy of Osseointegration Consensus Conference on the State of the Science of Implant Dentistry, in Chicago, and the European Association of Osseointegration Consensus conference on Implant Dentistry in Zurich.
Neil Meredith, Dental Surgeon
Neil Meredith graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London in 1983. He then completed a Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1987. Lecturing at the Eastman, Neil carried out research in Biomaterials and Biomechanics and invented the RFA technique to measure implant stability in 1992. Completing his PhD in 1993 he then moved to the University of Bristol as a consultant and senior lecturer. In 1995 Neil Meredith completed a second Swedish PhD at the University of Gothenburg. In 1998 he took up the Chair in Biomaterials and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Leeds. In 1999 Neil started development of the Neoss implant system where he has been CEO for six years. As well as practicing clinically he has also published many publications and lectured internationally.
John Savage, Dental Technician
John has been a dental technician for the past 18 years. He has been concentrating solely on Implant Cases for the past 6 years. John was an Implant technician at the Sheffield University Teaching Hospital until approximately 2 years ago before working in a private laboratory. He has considerable experience restoring all major implant systems.
Johnathan Ziff, Dental Surgeon
Jonathan Ziff has two full time refferal implant practice based in
Leicestershire. He has placed and restored thousands of implants over the past fifteen years.His completed work regulalry features in numerous dental journals and lectures regularly on implant related work. Johnathan has a particular interest in complex oral rehabilitaions for patints needeing combined periodontal surgical and restorative treatment.He is an active meber of the ADI the AOI and the EAO and is also a mentor for dentsply fraident and runs sevral courses on there behalf from his refferal center. Jonathan qualified from Leeds Dental Schooll in 1987 and has been in private implant practice at his center since 1990.
Kamran Qureshi
Kamran has been a practicing lawyer for 8 years. Following his law degree, and Masters Degree in Political science, he obtained a Masters Degree in International and European Commercial Law from the University of Sheffield. Kamran also has a Diploma in Business Administration.
